This assignment will be done with a partner, they will be selected by me at the beginning of the next class. You will make an audio file that will revolve around vivid description, and create a picture that you have interpreted from your partners audio file.

 

Step 1:

You will select a picture of your choosing that you think you can describe in great detail. Choose a simple picture that you can give very specific descriptions of . The picture must be selected from the creative commons database and must first be approved by myself before you proceed.

 

Step 2:

Post the picture on the website and await my approval.

 

Step 3:

Upon approval create a script that you think sufficiently describes your selected picture. You will be doing this part individually and confidentially. The description is to be no shorter than 37 seconds and no longer than 43.

 

Step 4:

Record your script to a digital file, I suggest using the program Audacity or Vocaroo, and then post to the appropriate page on our website. Your preselected partner will be doing the same.

 

Step 5:

Once all files have been posted you will then learn who your partner is by looking on the website. You will then construct a picture using the creative commons database and simply copy and paste appropriate pics that coincide with your partners description found on their audio file. Or, you can draw the description then take a picture with your phone and download it to the website.

 

Step 6:

Post your picture to the website on the proper page next to your partners audio file

 

 

You will be marked on the quality of your description and how well you interpreted your picture in accordance with your partners audio file. Below you will find a rubric that will describe in great detail how the description and interpretation elements will be marked.
